So, funny story, guys...

But I think we've got A Situation here >_>

Rai has just informed me that Law, who's currently supervising Bil's recovery and security, is interested in relocating him. Namely to Chopper's medbay. This is obviously a pretty big thing to get involved in, so before Law even approaches the crew ICly, I figured we'd get an idea of how we're feeling about this.

I will throw in my own two cents: Chopper is not going to turn away an injured person in need, no matter who they are. In fact, if being put under his care is what Bil needed, Chopper would put up a nasty fight to make it happen. So this is probably something that definitely needs to be smoothed over amongst the SHs if there's any dissenting opinions on that.

Edit: This is not a concrete thing! Just something we should get a handle on in advance in the event that it does happen.

Thoughts? 8|a

Okay, okay. Excuse any rambling, I need to get my thoughts in order.

First reaction is "Like hell" because it's Bil, whom Sanji does not like in the slightest and holds a weighty grudge against thanks to all the experiments he and other Lucetians have suffered through. Sanji also views him as useless since they can't get any information out of him in his current state. There's very little gain in keeping him close besides hoping he spills a few secrets upon recovery. Doesn't necessarily want the guy dead, but he is against the idea of his nakama being so heavily involved - because this would involve all of them on principle, even if Chopper had another medical bay. If the Malnosso come knocking and find out where Bil is, it's the Straw Hat's door they'll be breaking down. And they're going to find a nestful of angry pirates.

... That said, he knows Chopper, and as someone with steel-set convictions of his own, Sanji would frown and fuss but he wouldn't necessarily argue - I can even see him taking Chopper's side should the other crew mates try to veto the issue.

Law is gonna have to sell this shit big time, though, because what a hell of a thing to propose. 8|a Sanji would also want to know why Law is asking this of Chopper, too. Is there no one else, or he just trusts Chopper's conviction as a doctor?

Edit: OH also piping in to say that like Robin, if Luffy gives the okay... well, Sanji will still fuss and grumble a lot, but he won't go against captain's orders, either. At least, not on this side of the fence. >>

Will Law just be approaching Chopper, or is he going to approach the crew at large, do you think? Since, at least on Sanji's end, that will probably play into how harshly he reacts. (From what it looks like, this won't be getting vetoed, but Sanji will still bring up whatever points he deems necessary).

Not a solid thing yet, just to say. Given there are so many plots and plans flying about, it's hard to know yet WHERE this is going. So it could be just discussion here that goes no where in the end.

Law's interested in the Strawhats because of that Med Bay and the fact that Bil is too fragile to be moved any old where, and well, if the shit hits the fans, the Strawhats won't sell the bargaining chip out at the first gasp of trouble. He is also aware that the crew would likely be against it, so if things demand it, there will be negotiations. He will also be looking for other locations, because yeah, things might turn out that Bil is better kept somewhere else.

TLDR: This is a might that castmates should know about, and not an absolute thing that will happen.

Oh gotcha. o7 Thanks for letting us know.

And like Angel said, it's looking like there won't be a HUGE amount of dissent, so if it comes down to it, the SHs might be open to cooperating. If nothing else, it's an OOC possibility.
